Dear May,

You were an interesting month. Learned a lot of things in these past 31 days. Realized some pretty interesting things. Didn't think this would happen, didn't think I would again, didn't think I would make this friendship, but I'm satisfied with everything that happened. Uhm.. THANK YOU MAY for a good month.

little Christmas. Why am I listening to Christmas music?

Very chill day today. Didn't do much in school except watch movies and SA elections =) Hah, funny stuff. OH! And surprisingly, sophomores didn't get last place! Thank God. I don't really know how we pulled that of, but I'm still really glad. Good job to the freshmen though. You guys were good competition throughout the year.

Ate at Red Robin for Cosey's surprise birthday dinner! I don't really remember the last time we all got together, so it felt good to be able to hang out with all of them again =) WOW, I can't believe most of you are going to be seniors next year. Craaazy.

Just a thought: Ah, I'm trying not to. I seriously don't though.. or like I said, I'm trying reeeally hard not to. But you make it kind of hard. And it's not like you would anyways. Summer is in 4 days. Plenty of time to get over it.

THERE ARE OFFICIALLY FIVE DAYS OF SCHOOL LEFT!

Or 4, depending on if you count friday & thursday as half days.

Stress level = 60%. Not too bad. Why? Beeecause:

- I still haven't turned in my community service stuff yet.

- I think I have detentions.. which I haven't cleared yet.

- I screwed up on the bio test. Stupid reproductive system.

I walked my imaginary dog to the park by my house today 'cause I am/was THAT BORED. Swinged.. swung? on the swings & then slid.. slided? down the slide or a bit. My brain can't function right now. I apologize. Blahblahblah..

I mean, when will we ever have to identify the organs of a fetal pig later in life?

There are officially 5 days of school left! AKSDLJSDFYESSSS! I really want to go to Cue. Someone take me this summer, yeeah yeah yeaaah!? We can go to Cue, and then we can get dessert at Extraordinary Desserts after that, okay? Okay. Sounds like a plan to me.

THANK YOU MEMORIAL DAY

for giving us a three day weekend. It was greatly needed. 

Let's update, shall we?:

- Friday: Went to the Fall. They should have it in Chan more often! After the vespers they had foot washing + strawberry shortcake, mMmm.. P.S. Thank you Brooke for the wonderful foot massage. H.A.M. went to the swings after that & played on the slide for a bit, and then decided to go to the Big Toy. Gah, I seriously do not remember the last time I was that irritated: Some stupid little freshman wouldn't leave us alone and started taking his clothes off & following us around. I wanted to punch him in the face, but since I'm a good little Christian kid.. I didn't.. Haha =)

- Saturday: Went to church at LLFC.. haven't gone in so long! Danielle's 18th birthday party later on. Matthew Loh, I'm sure all of the guys in our grade would've killed to be you that night. Haha, funny stuff =) Drove to Santa Monica later that night w/ Tracy..

- Sunday: Went to IKEA for the first time! That place is pretty sweet, I must say! Then went to Huntington.. Hah, that's the 3rd time in the past two weeks. Watched Amityville Horror later that night =O Pretty scaaary. But then we watched Bride Wars afterwards to lighten the mood :)

I hope I didn't have any homework that I forgot about.. 

Ah, but there's only 8 days of school left! ThankyouJesus.

Dear sophomore year,

I'm sorry I took you for granted. I know I didn't really care during first semester, but I made it up to you with second semester, right? And I promise I'll make it up to you with junior year too. Junior year, I hope you're ready, 'cause next year is ALLL BUSINESS. So in conclusion, I'm sorry sophomore year for not giving you my all. I'll prove you wrong next year though, mmkay?

MY WEEKEND:

Change of plans.. didn't end up going camping. YES.

FRIDAY: Beach vespers was pretty fun. My first experience on a two-seater bike with Andi. It's harder than you think! We almost killed ourselves. Hm let's seee.. OH, the surprise went pretty good. Chocolates + picnic blanket + candles + romantic music = HAPPY sixth month anniversary MATTHEW & HEATHER :) You better thank me and Andi for all that planning and passing notes in religion.. haha. Got two roses for myself since I'm a loser like that. But then got 3 more later.. thanks guys, haha. MATTHEW LOH I HOPE I EMBARRASSED YOU. 

SATURDAY: Had to wake up at 8.. thanks Krista. Went to some Aloha Expo thing that Krista's friends invited her to. Sitting outside in 90+ degree weather for a whole hour = Risha having the nastiest tan line EVER :) Funny stuff. The dancing was really cool, though. It was worth it. Her dad drove us to Huntington.. at like the exact same place beach vespers was at. Rented another two-seater bike with Krista.. it was a near death experience. Like seriously. Slept on the way back home for a bit. I HATE TRAFFIC. Watched Pineapple Express. Krista's dog almost killed me. Went to bed early.. tiring day.

SUNDAY: Back home. I hope the Lakers win today, 'cause I really don't want to hear Pastor Skoretz give a 30 minute speech about it tomorrow. Well actually, it'll probably happen whether they win or lose. Greeeat. Did you know there's only 12 full school days left? Sweet! Can't wait until Summer. 

P.S. Jon, I told you it was a stupid bet. Make sure you pay Matthew tomorrow :)

Blood Drive was today! It was pretty.. interesting?

I'm glad I did it. Not just because we got to miss class..

but it was a pretty good experience. You know what I mean?

Preliminaries were today.. luckily I made it to the next round.

Donating blood tomorrow during 5th period! I'm pretty excited. 

Did you know that each year, approximately 20 percent of all 

blood donations are given by high school donors?

Yeah, I took that right off of the brochure. 

But still.. it's pretty cool.

Countdown: 25 more days

May is so monotonous. It always feels like the longest month, because everyone just wants summer to come already. It's the final stretch before 3 months of freedom, and that's pretty much all I can think about right now. I'm tired of all the school work and waking up early and studying for tests and L.E.'s every week. I'm trying to make excuses as to why I'm procrastinating on things so much lately, but all I can come up with is my own laziness. I need to change that, but it's getting really difficult lately. 

The same routine over and over again, Monday through Friday of every single week.. it's starting to get really boring. My grades are just where I want them right now, 

but I'm afraid that this last month of school might mess them up. 

Eh, well at least there's only 25 more days left, right?

Heather, we need to have another sleepover on the trampoline.

It's Friday! Thank goodness this week is finally over with. I can actually relax and sleep at night without worrying my butt off. AND, I can actually get home before 4. Amazing! But anyways..

Bio test today. 50 (something like that) lab practical questions. Screwed that up big time. Well, at least it's over with. We're dissecting the pig next! Fun stuff.

Chapel was sad. It made me realize how much this school started to suck after Mr. Laing left. That class was what I looked forward to every day, because no matter how boring every other class was, I could always look forward to 7th period history. But now Pastor Holmes teaches it. And now all we do is watch youtube videos. 

Car wash was fun, but I think I got a shade darker. I now also have a major shorts tan.

Beach vespers is next Friday! Ah, I can't wait. Finally there's something fun to look forward to. Then after that, only 3 weeks of school left! Thank goodness. I think everyone desperately needs summer.

It's finally over =) Thank God. Yesterday was the most frustrating day ever. Drilling for like what, 7 hours straight? Well that's not as much as the juniors or seniors, but still.. too much drill in one day. My legs have red splotches on them from slapping them so many times.

AH, I'm so relieved that it's finally over, like you have no idea. Finally all the stress is gone. Lydia, Matt, Chandler, & Jon, I love you guys. Haha. I'm glad it was you guys that I got to drill with, even though the guys were so pessimistic and depressing sometimes. And to tell you the truth, I'm actually satisfied. I know we messed up a lot, but it could've been a lot worse. And plus, we learned that final this morning. Hah =) Buuuut anyways, I honestly don't care if everyone thought we sucked, because they have no idea how hard it's been for everyone and how much pressure was put on us for only having 5 people. We could've quit right when the others did, but we stuck through with it & decided to give it a chance, even though we were short on people. It's okay. Next year.
