So yesterday family came over for a BBQ. Watched some old home videos.. haha hilarious, and a little embarrassing. There was one of my brother & my cousin Jerome dancing to Beat It by MJ =). All dressed up in the black leather coats and everything. And there was one of me standing on the table singing/dancing to Thriller ;P .. I was like 5, just for the record! But anyways..

So today: Got insurance for the car.. I'm now officially able to drive (: Except my dad keeps making excuses as to why I can't drive places yet.. oh well. Got Cuca's for lunch. It's their 20th anniversary (or something like that), so we got free Coke. Sweet deal. So we got home & I thought I'd be free for the rest of the day but then my dad decides that I'm getting fat sitting around all day, so he drags me to the gym with him =| Uhm, can you say out of shape? I got tired after like.. 5 minutes. Not even exaggerating. I needa work on that. What else did I do today? I just finished watching Edward Scissorhands. Not the ending I was hoping for. I love Johny Depp though. Lalala, I guess that's all. Still need to watch UP before I leave.. still need to find someone who will go w/ me to watch it though. *Hint hint (=

Transformers 2 = favorite movie of the summer. Optimus Prime is my hero. Fo'reals.

Went to VBS later. Team Servius! I liked this years' VBS. Went to the Fall afterwards.

FINALLY got to see people from school :) It seems like forever since I saw them last.

Went to Yogurtlicious afterwards.. Mmm, I've been craving frozen yogurt for so long!

Got the usual.. mango & strawberry banana w/ kiwis, strawberries, & mangos. DELICIOUS.

FINISHED:

- Go get frozen yogurt

- Watch Transformers 2

- Finish a whole game of Monopoly

TO-DO:

- Watch The Proposal, UP, and My Sister's Keeper

- Go ice-blocking! 

- Learn how to do a cartwheel

- Mini-golfing & cosmic bowling

- Rock climbing

- Water-balloon fight

TODAY I:

- Had cereal for lunch because I was too lazy to eat anything else.

- Wandered around the neighborhood because I just felt like it.

- Swung on the swings to cool off 'cause I haven't walked that much in so long -__-

- Contemplated for a bit. Blehh.

- Rented Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Confessions of a Shopaholic, & Transformers.

- Went to VBS. I love my kids =)

- Came home & went on a walk with mi madre.

- Watched FSM & COAS.

2. Weeeeell sir, I thought you were different.. but you're just the same as them. You just know how to hide it better. You make it pretty difficult, but I won't fall for it again.

3. Oh you. I guess I could include you in this, too. Along with you and you. I would include you too, but this is something I would expect from you.. not them. Seriously guys? I never would've expected it before. But I guess things really can change in the span of a year. Hopefully it hasn't been longer than that.

Life lessons for Grant. I miss these two =)

Arizona

What an experience.

Prescott was nothing like what I expected. 

This might be a bit long, just to let you know:

From Monday to Friday, we went to a family's house that was about 15 minutes away, and throughout the whole week, we restored the deck they had and landscaped all around his house. We'd work for about an hour every day.. I know it doesn't sound fun, but surprisingly, it really was. Hard work really does pay off, because when it was finished, it looked totally different. And plus, I got 12 hours of community service for it.. SWEET =) There would be afternoon activities almost every day.. We played football one day, & then there was a basketball tournament. I seriously didn't want to play, but they needed another girl so they dragged me in. I'm so glad I joined though.. it was one of the highlights of the week =) We made tye-dye shirts one day.. but someone stole mine. But then a kind friend gave me his.. even though it was 2 sizes too big. And mud volleyball, can't forget that. Oh boy, what to say about that? Well, I'll let the pictures explain it. Never done anything like that in my life.. Haha. & then there was a pool party.. with veggie hotdogs & burgers, of course. The night time meetings were amazing. Heather & I were in a watermelon eating contest.. Yeah, that's all I'll say about that. The speakers + praise team were great. We had to split up into small groups for the rest of the week.. I'm so thankful I ended up in the group I was in. It was.. pretty life-changing. It made me realize a lot of things, and I grew closer with a few people because of it. Well, it's really hard to describe the week because this entry honestly doesn't do it justice. There's so much more, but I'll just leave it at that. I'll just finish this off by saying that this past week was pretty sweet. I met amazing people, did things I never would've thought I would do, & grew closer to God from the whole experience. I was truly blessed by this past week & it really showed me how God can work & speak through other people. Thank you Heather so much for bringing me =)

Totally worth the $80. + I rode Space Mountain for the very first time! I'm dead tired right now, though. I haven't slept yet. And I have to wake up at 7 tomorrow to go to Arizona with Heather. YESSS, I'm SO looking forward to that freaking long car ride.

WOW, this is the longest I've gone without using this thing. UMM let's see.. So summer is off to an amazing start so far =) Grad stuff is finally over.. I'm finally a JUNIOR. Crazy stuff man. 09 was an amazing class.. I'll miss 'em. Starting from Thursday: Briggs, you have a gorgeous house. Class night was pretty bomb. Grad was kinda sad. Vivien's house afterward for her brother's 8th grade graduation party..? Knott's Berry Farm today.. fun stuff =) THANKS GUYS for being so thoughtful.. even though you guys spent money on nothing, haha. Uhm.. you're really stinky & lame but 'twas fun. Grad night is tomorrow. I'm excited =) Hopefully it's all worth it. Leaving for Arizona on friday w/Heather & I'll be gone for a week. I'll be fat + black when I come back.

Dear Sophomore year,

You were a good year. Gotten closer & made new friends with some pretty amazing people. When I look back at the beginning of the year, it's so crazy how different things are now. I wish some things didn't happen, AMAZED that some things did, I regret not trying hard enough for some things, proud of what I accomplished for other things, thankful for all the friends I've made, proud of what our class accomplished, and I must admit, I'm extremely satisfied with the way things turned out. Although I'm reeeeally happy that I'm officially done with bio for life & that I can sleep in for as long as I want now, I'll really miss this year. This summer is something to look forward to, though. SO EXCITED. 

FUNNY STORY TIME!

Okay, so Elizabeth (being the genius that she is) put her phone in her tiny little pocket that was hovering right above the water while we all took a picture by Briggs' jacuzzi. So of course, it fell out and Elizabeth just watched it drop because I guess it didn't register that it was her phone so she's just staring at it for like ten seconds while it sinks to the bottom. So then when it actually does, she starts screaming and leans over to try and grab it.. but then falls in too. Typical Elizabeth.

I am THEE most forgetful person ever. I forgot to bring a change of clothes to change out of my canticles dress sooo I had to go to the office and borrow some shorts & a shirt and blah blah blah.. Why do I forget everything? I think I'm going to get Alzheimer's when I grow up. I'm already suffering from short term memory loss.

Hm, so my excuse for my procrastinating is "one assignment can't possibly affect my grades THAT much". But sadly, I'm using that excuse on pretty much every single bit of homework I get. MOTIVATION PLEASE. It's greatly needed for these last 3 days.
